Chubb could see himself at UGA

Nick Chubb was invited to Athens this week by the UGA coaches and he took them up on their offer. He really liked what he saw.

"My visit to Georgia was nice," Nick Chubb told Scout. "I really liked how the coaches were so involved, , how they made it a point to talk to me, and the coaches really stood out to me."

The team impressed him too.

Chubb saw two UGA running backs (Todd Gurley and Keith Marshall) run for over 100 yards and he thinks that could be him one day.

"I could see myself going there in the future. I really like them and I have a lot of respect for their offense. I could see myself lining up in their offense."

The 5-foot-11, 208 pound junior running back out of Cedartown, Ga. ran for just under 200 yards in three quarters Friday night and he has over 900 yards in three games this season.

He has not picked up an offer from UGA yet, but he knows he is on their radar.

"I talked to all of the coaches while I was on the visit, but I talked to Coach [Bryan] McClendon and Coach [Mark] Richt the most," he said. "They told me they have been impressed with me this season and that they would be out Friday night at Ridgeland to see me play."
