Ohio Sophomore Visits Spartans

Cincinnati Colerain sophomore tight end George brown is a top 2015 prospect in Ohio, and college recruiters are already aware of this impressive athlete. Brown was at Michigan State this past Saturday to watch the Spartans take on Notre Dame.

It's not too early to begin tracking the top 2015 prospects in Ohio, and Cincinnati Colerain tight end George Brown stood out on The Opening week of the season as one to watch.

Brown, 6-foot-6, 240-pounds, is already attracting recruiting attention from several top BCS programs. He visited Michigan State Saturday for the game with Notre Dame.

"This was my first college game as a recruit, and I loved it," Brown stated. "The atmosphere was nice and the fans were loud. I got to see Plaxico Burress and a few other former players on the sideline, which was great seeing them there."

"I got a chance to speak to the Michigan State coaches, and they told me they will be keeping their eyes on me the rest of the year, to see how I'm doing," he added. "I'm hearing from schools like Ohio State, Virginia Tech, LSU and Auburn. They have all invited me to come to games, and I'm definitely going to get to Ohio State in the next few weeks for sure.

As the season has progressed, Brown's playing time has increased and his tape shows a player with a world of potential. Although he plays tight end at Colerain, he could project as an offensive tackle at the next level.

"I'm playing a lot more over the past few games, and I'm playing well," he explained. "The first game I was a little nervous playing varsity, but I've settled down now and I'm doing good. My drive blocking is what I'm doing best right now, and I'm looking to get faster and stronger."

"I want to keep getting better over the rest of this year, and keep contributing to the team," he continued.
