Greg Powers, National Recruiting Analyst
Plano (Texas) Prestonwood vs. Royse City (Texas)

Prestonwood rolled to a 44-7 victory and Scout.com Top 100 middle linebacker Mike Mitchell had a huge game in the win. He racked up 29 total tackles and caused the offense fits. He was all over the ball all night. His brother and Class of 2015 dual-sport recruit Mickey Mitchell was the leader of the offense from his quarterback spot, but it was running back Grayson Warren who was the start of the show with 243 rushing yards and three scores. With the success the team had on the ground Scout.com four-star tight end Christian Morgan was limited to two catches for nine yards, but he was an impressive looking specimen.

Ahmard Vital, Midlands Recruiting Spring (Texas) Westfield vs Spring (Texas) Klein Collins Turns out this Westfield team is much tougher than many predicted and it showed as the Mustangs thrashed the Collins team 40-19. In the win, four-star defensive tackle Hardreck Walker, a Texas A&M commit was great all night keeping pressure on the quarterback. So much pressure that a sleeper defensive back Ron Knowles was about to pull down two interceptions. Wide receiver UTEP commitment Tyler Batson was good on the edge, making several catches over the smaller defensive backs. Staying with the offense, running back Emmit Raleigh ran for three touchdowns in the win. He was tough between the tackles and was able to get to the edge as well. He is looking for more activity in his recruitment, but does have interest from FCS programs.

On the other side, athlete Jordan Thomas, who will likely play Division I ball as a corner, was the primary play maker for Klein Collins, which didn't get a lot done offensively this game. Thomas showed great hands and concentration, making a number of impressive catches despite being covered by two defenders at times. In the open field, he is tough to catch.
