Deonte Clyburn has offers five offers at this stage, but with St. Xavier being right in the meat of their schedule, Clyburn has put recruiting on the backburner and focused on his season.

"I haven't planned my visits yet. I will pick that up after the season," said the senior with offers from Eastern Kentucky, Indiana State, Colorado State, Miami and Tennessee-Martin.

On the year, St. Xavier is 3-2 with a game against Central High School coming up Friday night. And Clyburn is trying to focus on his season.

"This season is going great. We are off to a good start. But we're taking it one game at a time. We have Central Friday night. Everybody I played with on my little league team plays for them," Clyburn said.

Clyburn can already see where he's gotten better since last season and he's still making plays all over the field.

"I read my keys a lot better. I try to be in on every play," he said.

After four games, Clyburn had 25 tackles to lead the Tigers in stops this year.

FOX Sports Next will have more on Clyburn as the season progresses.
