Big Ten offer for Trout

Just days after attending Michigan State's game against Notre Dame, Lancaster (OH) junior Kyle Trout added the Spartans to his growing list of offers.

Junior offensive lineman Kyle Trout made his way to East Lansing Saturday to watch Michigan State take on Notre Dame. Not only did the Spartans leave an impression on the OL, but he also remained on their mind.

"I just got off the phone with Coach Dantonio," said Trout Monday night. "They officially offered me. I was expecting it since they already said that they just wanted to meet me in person."

Trout says what he really likes about the Spartans is their similarity to his Lancaster (OH) team.

"I like that they run a lot like my high school team, so that's nice. I also like all of the coaches."

The junior also holds offers from Bowling Green, Cincinnati, Illinois, Ohio and Toledo. He says that as of now, everyone is equal.

"I'm not sure where I would put MSU with my other offers. I haven't really started ranking my offers yet. I'm definitely interested in Michigan State thought."
