Willis changes visit plans

Tempe (Ariz.) Marcos De Niza defensive back Priest Willis was expected to take his first official visit this weekend to Notre Dame but he'll now have to re-schedule the trip.

Priest Willis, the top rated corner in the West region, was looking forward to heading to South Bend this weekend to see Notre Dame host Michigan. Those plans have now been scrapped, but the athlete still plans to make it out to see the Irish.

"There's a big ceremony at my school on Friday for the Under Armour game," Willis said. "I didn't have any control or say when they come out, right now, they're touring the West Coast. It's a big honor for sure and I'm very excited about it. They're going to present me with my jersey and make it a big deal so it should be fun."

The only downside for Willis is he won't be able to make it out to Notre Dame now but is in the process of re-scheduling the visit.

"I looked at their schedule and I'm going to try and get out there for either the Miami or Stanford game," Willis said. "Notre Dame is a big time program and I'm looking forward to seeing the place for sure. I know it's going to be crazy this weekend and a lot of recruits are going but it might be better to go on a weekend where I can spend more time with the coaches.

"I still plan to visit Nebraska and LSU as well and those dates are locked in. I haven't thought a lot about my last two trips, like i said before, I'm really focusing on my team and our season so I'll get to those later in the year."
