"It's going to be a blast with LSU having a home night game," he said. "I get something in the mail every day from LSU, and I'm ready to see the atmosphere. I'll be coming back for their Junior Day on February 9th, too."
"A&M was a blast, too," he said. "It was their their first game ever in the SEC. They have the biggest student section in the NCAA.
"OU reminded me of the old-time set-up at Katy."
Katy is 4-0 following a 62-24 win over Morton Ranch last night in the district opener. That marked the second straight game in which the Tigers topped the 60-point mark (beat The Woodlands 63-10 in previous outing).
"The season is going really good," Blomstrom said. "We made a really big statement against The Woodlands.
"I'm flying around the ball and making plays. I'd say I have 30-to-35 tackles (through three games)."
Blomstrom is college-ready at 6-3 and 235 pounds.
He has family ties to Louisiana.
