Love talks about Nebraska official visit

This was a great weekend for the Nebraska coaching staff to bring in a lot of visitors. It was a big game and also a nationally televised game in prime time. Courtney Love from Youngstown (Ohio) Cardinal Mooney was there for his official visit. What were his thoughts about the weekend?

Lincoln, Nebr. isn't old hat for Courtney Love, but he has been to Lincoln now a number of times. This weekend was his official visit though and he came away as impressed this weekend as the first weekend he saw Lincoln.

"The weekend was great," Love said. "It was unbelievable. The Nebraska fans are absolutely the best in college football. The coaches really present everything so well to the recruits and everyone. The team is just a great group of guys."

This was Loves third trip to Lincoln. He hasn't been able to see Lincoln on a game day though. This was his first chance to do that and he loved being recognized the the Nebraska faithful before the tunnel walk.

"The crowd was just amazing for all of the recruits when we walked out of the locker room. All of the fans knew who we were and knew our names. I really enjoyed that part of the trip. That was really big time."

Love may not be done checking out Nebraska games from the stands this year, but he just might not be in Lincoln. Love is looking forward to possibly seeing Nebraska next weekend in Columbus.

"Yeah, I think that we are going to be able to go to Ohio State to watch the Nebraska game. I am hoping that I can finish up my senior season on a high note and then I am excited about getting to Lincoln in January."
