"It feels fantastic to be a part of this offensive line," said Kirkland. "They're my best buddies over there and it feels good that we've all worked so hard to get to where we are. There isn't any trash talk about our future schools. We're teammates now and we all play for each other."
Kirkland will eventually play for Washington, an opportunity he's thrilled for.
"It was great to be able to commit to Washington," said Kirkland. "I'm going to set my visit up with them in January so I can get the whole time with them, and not just for a game, when they're stressed about their game."
Kirkland plans to be in Seattle later this month.
"I'll be going up for the USC game and I'm excited about that," said Kirkland.
Kirkland said a few other Pac-12 schools are still in contact with him.
In the meantime, Kirkland said he's been focused on Jesuit, as they focus on winning a potential state title.
"We're in Metro League now and we've got to stay focused and hungry," said Kirkland.
