More Love for Davis

FOX Sports NEXT is in the streets this fall to bring you all the coverage from across the Midlands region. Recently, we caught up with Bush cornerback Chad Davis from Richmond, Texas for a brief recruiting update…

A few more offers have come in for Richmond (TX) Bush defensive back Chad Davis. The latest and most recent offer came from Tulsa, with Utah State coming not long before.

Though he has been heavily involved in his senior season at Bush, the 5-foot-10, 175-pound Davis took in some Big 12 action a couple weeks back when TCU defeated Virginia.

"It was pretty cool. I've been many times for track and football so there was really nothing new," Davis said. "The stadium and the uniforms were cool and the coaches were laid back and cool too."

Davis said that he has been talking with the Horned Frog coaching staff weekly, mainly to assistant coaches Eddie Williamson and Clay Jennings.

Aside from the two newest offers, Davis Texas Tech, San Jose State, UT-San Antonio, North Texas and UTEP. He's also hearing from Minnesota and Wake Forest as well. He has not yet set up any official visits.
