The future for Ole Miss is around the corner as 18 of their commitments are nearing the the midpoint in their season. To see how they are doing, read below.

Ole Miss Commitment Stats

**RB Peyton Barber and Milton (GA) continued their winning ways with a 34-13 win over Wheeler. Peyton had 128 rushing yards and 2 touchdowns on the game.'s #60 rated tailback has rushed for for 892 rushing yards and 11 TDs in their first five games of action.

The bruising 230-pound back had over 900 rushing yards his sophomore campaign before breaking his foot in game three his junior season. He missed the remainder of the '11 campaign.

Milton (4-1) faces Etowah Thursday night on Peyton is expected to visit Ole Miss unofficially for the Texas A&M game.

**RB Mark Dodson and Whitehaven (Tenn) defeated Memphis Hamilton 41-6. Mark was taken out in the middle of the second quarter to let the subs in and finished the night with 12 carries for 187 yards and 2 TDs.

Whitehaven is now 7-0 on the season and have a bye this week.'s #43 rated tailback has 147 carries for 1, 389 yards and 13 TD's through. Last season Mark rushed for over 2, 100 yards and 28 TD's. He was named 1st Team All-State for his own the field accomplishments.

Dodson is expected to visit Ole Miss unofficially this weekend for the Texas A&M game.

**QB Devante Kincade and Skyline defeated Dallas Jesuit 56-24 to run their record to 3-1. The Ole Miss quarterback commit was 9-12 for 197 passing yards and three touchdowns. He also had a 50 yard rushing touchdown in the contest.

In four games of action kincade has passed for 895 yards/13 TDs and rushed for 308 yards/5 TDs.

The nation's #12 ranked quarterback was a terror on the field last season as he passed for 3,270 yards and 37 touchdowns while also chipping in another 857 rushing yards and 17 TDs on his way to All-State honors.

Skyline faces Lake Highlands (3-0) tonight. Kincade is expected to take an unofficial visit to Ole Miss for the Auburn weekend.

**Canton (MS) and Daronte Bouldin had a tough loss against Yazoo City by the score of 6-0 last Friday night. The 6' 5", 315-pound Dandy Dozen offensive tackle had 6 pancakes in the game which runs his season total to 51pancakes and 35 crackback blocks through six games. Canton is 2-4 and faces Neshoba Central Friday.

Bouldin is expected to be in Oxford Saturday.

**Gadsden City (AL) and Finesse Middleton lost a huge showdown with Auburn by a score of 49-25. The Ole Miss commit returned to the field after sitting out the previous week with a shoulder injury. He turned in his best performance of the season with 8 tackles, 4 for loss, and 1 sack. Through four games of action the 6' 0", 250-pound hybrid end has 27 tackles, 12for losses and 3 sacks.

Middleton had 45 tackles and 10 sacks as a junior manning the defensive tackle position. His season was cut short by a foot injury in the middle of the season but he did return for the playoffs. Middleton is expected to enroll at Ole Miss in December.

**Champagnat Catholic (Hialeah, FL) and S Charles Williams were defeated by Calvary Christian Academy 14-6. Their record now stands at 2-2. Charles is ranked the #52 rated safety by but also doubles as their starting quarterback. He rushed for 70 yards and a touchdown on the night and was 2-5 in the passing department for 21 yards. Charles also caught 3 passes for 36 yards in the contest.

Williams has 243 rushing yards/4 TD's, 88 passing yards/1TD, and 4 catches for 62 yards and a touchdown on the season.

**TE Evan Engram and Hillgrove (GA) returned from their bye with a 38-0 win over Campbell. Their record now stands at 2-2. The Ole Miss commit had one catch for a 52 yard TD in the contest. Through four games of action's #22 nationally rated tight end has 13 catches for 372 yards and 3TD's.

Last season Engram collected 20 receptions for 500 yards and 6 TDs as a junior.

**Derrick Jones and Eupora (6-1) defeated George 31-0 last Friday to run their record to 6-1. The 6' 2", 185-pound receiver had 4 catches for 44 yards in the contest. Through seven games of action Jones has 36 catches for 642 yards and 8 TDs. He has also chipped in a 95 yard kickoff and a 85 yard punt return for touchdowns.

The 3-Star WR is expected to be in Oxford Saturday.

**Grenada (MS) lost to Tupelo 33-14 this past Friday. The Chargers had their star two-way player Trey Bledsoe return to the field for the first time this season in game six. Trey picked up right where he left off last year as he caught 6 balls for 105 yards and 2 TDs against Desoto Central but only had four catches for 11 yards against Tupelo. He did pick off a pass in Friday's game while manning the safety position.

Last season the 6' 2", 190-pound receiver caught 27 passes for 440 yards and 7 TD's. While manning the safety position he posted 40 tackles and 5 interceptions.

**Ole Miss commits CB Zach Witchett and Quadarius Mireles fell to East Central CC by a score of 26-21 after taking a 21-3 lead. Q Mireles had 5 receptions for 32 yards which brings his season total to 24 receptions for 283 yards and 3 TDs through five games of action.

Georgia native Zach Witchett has 12 solo tackles and 4 batted down balls through the first three games of action. He has been out the past two games with a hamstring injury.,

Hinds faced S' West CC Thursday night. Both players will take their official visits to Ole Miss next weekend for the Auburn game.

**Memphis East and Ole Miss commit DT Herbert Moore had a bye this past week. The 6' 2", 320-pound defensive tackle has 31 tackles, 9 tackles for losses, 1 sacks 1 batted down ball, 3 fumble recoveries, and 1 defensive touchdown on the season through six games.'s #66 rated defensive tackle had 46 tackles and 8 sacks as a junior.

East faces Melrose Friday.


**Colquitt County (GA) and WR/CB Bobby Hill lost to Lowndes 17-14 this past Friday after having a bye the week before. The 3-Star CB prospect had 6 catches for 81 yards in the contest. He now has 25 catches for 287 yards and 2 TD's through five games of action.

Last season the 6' 0", 165-pound athlete had 13 catches for 368 yards and 6 TD's. On the defensive side of the ball, where he is projected to play at Ole Miss, he intercepted five passes.

Colquitt County (3-2) faces Tift County Friday.

Jackson Prep defeated PCS 24-7 last Friday. Ryan Buchanan returned to the field after missing one week of action. The 4-Star QB was 10-13 for the night with 145 yards passing. Through six games of action the Dandy Dozen selection is 40-69 for 780 yards and 10 TD's. He has also rushed for over 150 yards.

Jackson Prep faces Jackson Aca Friday night in a huge showdown. He will come up to Oxford Saturday to see the Rebels face Texas A&M.

**WR Dannon Cavil and Madison (TX) defeated Churchhill 49-14 last Friday to run their record to 3-2 on the season. The Ole Miss commit did not have any balls thrown his way as it poured all night long. In five games of action he now has 12 receptions for 328 yards and 4TDs.'s #123 ranked receiver had 27 catches for 565 yards and 8 TD's his sophomore campaign for Lake Travis (TX). He transferred to Madison after his sophomore campaign but tore his hamstring and missed the entire regular season as a junior. He did return for the playoffs and recorded 68 yards receiving and returned two kickoffs for 110 yards.

Madison (2-2) faces Churchhill (1-3) tonight.

**Byhalia (MS) and OT Davion Johnson lost to Charleston 28-15 to stop a three game losing streak.'s #34 rated offensive tackle had 7 pancakes in the game. The Dandy Dozen offensive tackle has totaled 48 pancake blocks through seven games.

Last season the 6' 5", 325-pound left tackle was named 1st Team All-State.

Byhalia (4-3) faces Independence (5-1) Friday. Davion is expected to attend the OM/Texas A&M game Saturday.

**Carver (LA) and RB Eugene Brazley defeated Newman 72-68 in a shoot-out last Friday.'s #72 rated tailback had his best game of the season with 14 rushes for 196 yards/3 touchdowns and three catches for 58 yards. Through four games of action 5' 9", 175-pound slot back has 45 carries for 474 yards and five touchdowns. He also has 9 receptions for 118 yards and three touchdowns.

Last season Eugene was one of the top play makers in the Big Easy as he had over 1, 800 yards of offense and 24 TDs.

**LB Rashawn Smith and Florence (AL) loss to Oxford Decatur 35-7 last Friday. The Ole Miss commit had 10 tackles in the contest.

Florence (3-2) faces James Clemens Friday.
