Four-star OLB weighing his options

Christian Miller, the No. 2 rated prospect in South Carolina's loaded class of 2014, has already picked up offers from both in-state programs.

The Spring Valley High School [Columbia] junior outside linebacker is up to three offers, Georgia Tech being the most recent.

Clemson was first.

"I've heard a lot from them. They stay in contact with me through Facebook, I'm talking with coach [Brent] Venables," Miller recently told CUTigers.

South Carolina, the alma mater of his parents, offered after the start of his junior season. The Gamecocks' staff gave Miller the news while he was on campus for a visit.

"It was really good, just because they're an SEC school and it's another offer. It was really nice just because I wasn't really expecting it," Miller said.

The 6-foot-3, 200-pound prospect visited South Carolina for the Missouri game and again this past weekend for the Georgia game. So far this fall, it's the only campus he's seen.

Miller has yet to settle on where he'll go next.

"As of right now, I'm not sure yet," he said. "I haven't really been trying to do too much."

Florida State and Alabama have expressed a lot of interest, and Miller thinks one of those two could be next to offer.

Who leads?

"I don't really have any favorites right now. It's kind of early and I haven't really been to too many places yet. Hopefully, I should get some after I take some more visits."

Through seven games, Miller has 72 tackles, seven sacks and three forced fumbles.
