T.J. Harrell Talks College Football

T.J. Harrell checks in from Tampa (FL) Tampa Catholic High School at 6'1 and 205-pounds. He will be one of the top two way standouts from the Sunshine state for 2014.

Harrell is a teammate of offensive linemen Corey Martinez who will also be heavily recruited for the class of 2014. Harrell is off to a fast start to his junior season and talked about what college football means to him.

"College football to me is just another part of living a dream. As kids we all have that one favorite school but as we get older and rashly start to look at schools from inside out instead of the outside in that could really have an effect on how you look at college football."

Harrell is off to a very fast start in the recruiting game with early offers from Florida, Georgia, Michigan State, Purdue and UCLA. California, Michigan, Mississippi State, Notre Dame and South Florida are all teams that could be in the mix if they extend an offer.

Harrell has good size, nice frame and is only getting bigger, stronger and faster. It remains to be seen which side of the ball he is suited for at this time but with his athletic ability he could be very dangerous from the linebacker position. Harrell has a lot of football smarts and finishes strong. T.J. Harrell is definitely a player to keep an eye on moving forward for next year's class. As far as linebacker or running back at the next level it's a tough decision but he has something in mind.

"I love both so much I can't even choose and I like end. It's so hard but linebacker only because I can fly and read plays and rush but running back is right there."
