Finnegan Visits Wolverines

6-foot-3, 205 pound junior Ramroth Finnegan has been visiting schools across the Midwest. Check out what the quarterback has to say about Michigan.

Junior quarterback Ramroth Finnegan describes himself as a leader on the field.

"We have so many inexperienced receivers, so I'm making sure to make this a good experience for them. As the quarterback, if something goes wrong you can't put your head down, you have to lead the team."

It's that attitude that is attracting coaches to the junior.

"I'm hearing from Indiana, Boston College, Pittsburgh, Illinois, Nebraska, Cincinnati and Michigan."

Speaking of the Wolverines, Finnegan was in Ann Arbor this past weekend to watch them take on Illinois.

"It was awesome; the best experience I've had so far. It was really the BIG house. Hearing the roar of the crowd was awesome. I liked it a lot."

"I've grown up an Ohio State fan, but always knew Michigan had a great tradition. The visit really changed my view on them. I would love to play for them. The support they have from their fans is amazing."

The junior has also visited Indiana and Pittsburgh and is hoping to make it to Cincinnati soon.

While he is still waiting for his first offer, he doesn't plan to prolong his recruitment too long.

"I'd like to commit early if I have the opportunity. I'd like to get other players to come to the program just like Shane Morris has done."

So far this season Finnegan has passed for 1932 yards and 15 touchdowns, and rushed for 425 yards and four touchdowns.
