Good get for Bulls with 6-5 receiver

Zach Benjamin ended his recruitment on Wednesday when he made his commitment to the hometown USF Bulls.

Zach Benjamin had several Division 1 scholarship offers including Toledo, Ohio, Western Kentucky, and Bowling Green. He chose to accept the one BCS offer he had on the table -- USF.

"After talking with my family friends and coaches, I've officially committed to the University of South Florida," Benjamin said. "I wanna thank all the other coaches for the interest and time in me as well. Go Bulls."

Benjamin, 6-foot-5 and 195 pounds, talked more about what he liked about his hometown school.

"I like that it's close to home and it's a program on the rise. I feel comfortable there and have a good relationship with the coaches."

Through six games this season Benjamin has 15 catches for 251 yards and three touchdowns.
