San Clemente HS OL Sean Harlow (San Clemente, CA) verbally committed to Washington back during the summer, but says he's going to take official visits to three other schools. One of those three schools is Boise State. The Broncos heavily recruited Harlow prior to his commitment to Washington, so what are his thoughts on taking an official visit to The Blue?

"I'm going to take official visits to Boise State, Wisconsin, and Oregon State," he said. "I figured why not take a few visits and just make sure," he added.

"For Boise, I really enjoyed it up there," he stated. "I've spoken to Coach Petersen, get letters from him every now and then, and he's a lot like Coach Riley. Both have great drive and determination to teach you not only football but about life as well."

"Boise State is always successful and I want to be a part of a successful program," said Harlow. "I feel the time I spent up there was nice, everyone seemed close, and I liked the coaches too."

Looking back, Harlow says he believed Washington was the "best fit" and still believes so at this time.

"It just felt like the best fit for me," he said. "I'm still committed to Washington and I feel that they are a program on the rise. I enjoyed being around the coaches and players while on my visit."

San Clemente is a top program year-in and year-out in Southern California, but has struggled mightily through eight games this season due to injuries. They're 4-4 right now and could still be a playoff team, but the backups will certainly have to step up.

"We started off 4-0," he said. "We've lost our RT, RG, QB, LB, tons of players. I'm actually playing center now. I've had to play just about every position on the O-line. Some of these young guys from JV just have to step up."

"I've had to be a bit more of a vocal leader," he said. "Some of the kids just don't understand the concepts. We're definitely an underdog team now. We're just going to have to go out there, take it game by game, and hopefully come out with the W."

BroncoCountry.com will continue to have updates on Sean Harlow.
