Colorado Offers Shipley

Wilsonville (Ore.) wide receiver Tanner Shipley picks up his second Pac-12 offer from coach Embree and Colorado…

Wilsonville (Ore.) wide receiver Tanner Shipley is having a big senior season, and it has earned him the attention of the Colorado coaching staff.

"They called me a couple days ago and told me they were going to look at my film as a staff," said Shipley. "They did so today and took a vote to see if I could be an impact on this team, and they voted me in on a unanimous vote from all! They called me up to offer me a full ride! I feel very honored that they think so highly of me!"

The 6'2" 185lbs athlete could play on either side of the ball, but like most programs, Colorado is looking at him for offense.

"They like me at wide receiver or slot," said Shipley.

While Shipley was intrigued by the offer, he didn't feel a temptation or pressure to make a commitment right away.

"I didn't feel rushed at all," said Shipley. "I really want to lay out my options. I plan on taking a visit soon."

Shipley's options include offers from BYU, Oregon State, Wyoming and now Colorado. At this point he is still taking a hard look at each of those programs.

"I'm looking at all my offers," said Shipley.
