"It was real hyped," Alexander said of Tiger Stadium. "It was extra hyped. I talked to Frank (Wilson). He wants me to keep in touch with him every Sunday.
"We were on the sideline behind the end zone when LSU was warming up. It was real intense with a lot of hitting. It was real exciting. LSU had a real good crowd; to play in that atmosphere must be amazing."
A true student of the game, Alexander keenly studied the respective secondaries of the Tigers and Gamecocks.
"I was watching the coverages," he said. "I already liked LSU, and I liked them even more after the game. Overall, I like their program."
Alexander, Dupre and Riley all camped with the Tigers over the summer.
"I'm open to everybody. I would like to visit Tennessee for a game this year, but I'm not sure if I can do that with our schedule."
Curtis continues to hold down the No. 2 national ranking in the FOX Sports NEXT Top 50.
"The season is going good," Alexander said. "I had 10 tackles against Carver and seven against Plant."
The junior was clocked at 4.49 in the 40-yard dash at LSU camp with a 4.0 shuttle.
