Town took an unofficial visit to Miami two weeks ago and landed his first scholarship offer.
"It was a great trip, I really liked it there," Town said. "Me and Bryce (Dixon) flew in on Friday and stayed through Sunday. On Saturday we went to their game with North Carolina and had a good time. We got to go down on the field before the game and then had front row seats when the game started.
"The game day atmosphere was awesome. There were a handful of empty seats but the crowd still gets loud and it was a lot of fun being there. We went in to the locker room after the game and talked with the players and coaches so I had a great time."
On Sunday, Town took a visit of the Miami campus and talked with head coach, Al Golden.
"I met with the OC, Coach Fisch and he told me how happy they were to have me on campus," Town said. "Then he told me that Coach Golden wanted to meet with me and my dad and said I would probably be getting a scholarship offer.
"I didn't know what to expect but Coach Golden was great and after we talked for a little bit, he said they really like me a lot and wanted to offer me a scholarship. I like Coach Golden a lot and I think the program is going places. I definitely felt comfortable with everything Miami had to offer and they're very high on my list right now."
Over the weekend, Town picked up offer No. 2.
"UCLA saw my game Friday night," Town said. "We went to a no huddle offense for the first time all year and that's kind of what UCLA runs. I threw for around 250 yards and three touchdowns and played pretty well.
"The next day, my quarterback coach, Anton Clarkson, told me I should give Mazzone a call and he heard they liked me a lot. When I called him, he said they really liked my skill set a lot and they wanted to offer me a scholarship. UCLA is a great school and I have a lot of interest. Me and about 10 of my teammates plan to go to their game against Arizona in two weeks and I'll take a campus visit the following day."
