Game Film: LB D.J. Moffitt

Evaluation and game film of Concord (Calif.) De La Salle linebacker D.J. Moffitt from their game against Pleasanton (Calif.) Foothill...

Concord (Calif.) De La Salle linebacker D.J. Moffitt probably had the best game of anyone from De La Salle when they played Pleasanton (Calif.) Foothill, with a takeaway, double-digit tackles and several big hits that broke up passes.

Moffitt moves really well laterally and plays good in space, but is just as adept in stuffing the run, which he did on the few occasions that Foothill tried to run.

He can get sideline to sideline pretty quickly and unlike Hutchings, he looks noticeably bigger since we saw him in May at the Oakland NFTC.

Moffitt has a handful of offers, some as a safety, some as a linebacker, and the more we watched him, the more we think he'll move up into the box.
