Game Film: RB Thomas Tyner

Check out highlights on the Oregon running back commit, five-star Thomas Tyner from Beaverton (Ore.) Aloha from their game against Portland (Ore.) Jesuit...

Beaverton (Ore.) Aloha running back Thomas Tyner had his quietest game of the year, being held under 100 yards.

While he did score a pair of touchdowns, Jesuit did an excellent job of bottling him up and shutting him down. His two best plays were a kick return where he broke around six tackles, and brought it back about 60-yards, which set up his first touchdown.

His other one was an 11-yard run where he trucked a pursuing linebacker to get inside the five, where he scored the next play.

But between those was just an ok game.

He didn't show the burst we know he has in this one, didn't do a great job of cutting it up field, and really didn't break many tackles.

Part of it was Jesuit stacking the box so much, he really had no where to run, but with his size and speed, he rarely used it.
