Robinson Adding Offers

Artemis Robinson has had a big senior season and the Scotland County High (Laurinburg, N.C.) linebacker's efforts have not gone unnoticed.

"Things have been going great," said Artemis Robinson. "I have offers from ECU, Duke, App State, North Carolina A&T, and Wake Forest. ECU and Wake Forest are my most recent offers – they offered within the same week. Miami and Minnesota are also still recruiting me and I think they could offer."

Robinson already has an idea of when he will take his official visits.

"I haven't scheduled any officials to those schools, but I have scheduled one to Miami in January," the 6-foot-2, 215-pound Robinson said. "Right now, I'm also planning on taking official visits to Duke, ECU, App State, and Wake Forest. I'm going to take all of them after the season."

On top of the scholarship offers, Robinson recently received a huge honor as he was selected to participate in the Shrine Bowl of the Carolinas.

"It feels great," he said. "It's a big accomplishment and it helps to get my name out there. I'm really just looking forward to the competition."

The Scotland standout is in no hurry to make his decision.

"I don't have a leader – I'm still wide open," he said. "I'm going to make my decision on Signing Day."

Scotland finished the regular season 9-1 and takes on East Chapel Hill this Friday in the first round of the North Carolina High School State Playoffs.
