The 6-foot-2, 285-pound Harris already has one visit set up after his season.
"I going to visit Alabama in January," he said. "I'm going with Coach (Hank) Sawyer (Lake Taylor head coach) and Jalyn Holmes."
Two schools are standing out for the junior defensive lineman.
"The top two schools standing out for me right now are Clemson and Alabama," Harris said.
Clemson: "I went down there in the summertime and I like the campus. They also have my major; I want to major in mechanical engineering or physical education. The coaching staff is cool. I had a chance to sit and talk with Coach Dabo (Swinney), he told me he liked me a lot and that I was one of their top recruits."
Alabama: "I like everything about Alabama. I like the way that they dominate games and how their defense plays. I also like that they send a lot of people to the NFL. I'm ready to look more into their program."
Despite several scholarship offers, Harris is in no hurry to make a college decision.
"I'll probably narrow my list down around January – probably to three or four schools," Harris said. "But I'm not going to make any major decisions until next year. Most likely, I will make my college decision after my senior season."
Lake Taylor is 9-0 and takes on Norcom this Saturday.
