Davis is having a Good Season

LaSamuel Davis is one of the top sophomores is South Carolina. The Bamberg Ehrhardt High (Bamberg, S.C.) defensive end is played a big role in his team's success this season.

"We've been working hard; we've only lost one game." said LaSamuel Davis. "I've played pretty good and I've learned a lot."

Although he is only a sophomore, Davis has already picked up three scholarship offers.

"I still have offers from Clemson, South Carolina, and UCLA," he said. "Right now, those are the main schools recruiting me. UCLA is recruiting me the hardest."

"I would also like to hear from Alabama, Georgia, and Florida."

While Davis has not taken any visits to colleges this season, that could change in the near future.

"I haven't taken any visits so far this year," said the 6-foot-4,210-pound defensive end. "I'm supposed to going to a (South) Carolina game. I'll probably visit Clemson, too."

The Red Raiders are 9-1, but Davis is not satisfied.

"We are just trying to stay focused and win a state championship," he said.

Bamberg-Ehrhardt has a bye in the first round of the state playoffs and will be back in action on November 9.
