Ohio 2014 OL Updates Recent Visits

Several teams are showing interest in Ohio 2014 offensive lineman Danny Burns. After a recent visit to a Big Ten program, Burns updates the other programs he's visited and what schools are showing interest.

Standing 6-foot-7, 300-pounds Danny Burns of Fairfield (Ohio) High School gets a lot of attention. This past weekend Burns visited Wisconsin coming away impressed by the Badgers program.

"The trip to Wisconsin was really fun," said Burns. "I got a chance to see them play and I loved it. Before the game we got a chance to eat where the team eats their pre-game meal and they talked about all the new stuff they have coming that should be finished by 2014."

Badgers wide receivers coach Zach Azzanni is leading the charge for Burns and after his visit Burns has the Badgers as a school of high interest.

"I saw coach Azzanni back in May," said Burns. "Wisconsin is definitely a school I have a lot of interest in."

While the Badgers received high marks from Burns, he's also made several other visits this fall.

"So far I've visited West Virginia for my first college visit," said Burns. "They've invited me to all of their home games this season. I've also made visits to Ohio State, Cincinnati, Northwestern and now Wisconsin.

"In the next few weeks I'm not sure if I'll make any more visits, but I've been invited to Louisville and Pittsburgh."

With no offers extended at this time Burns feels things are getting close.

"I've not received any offers but some schools I think are considering me include Michigan even though I've never seen them," said Burns. "I also feel West Virginia could be close."
