After de-commitment Veii eyes Iowa

Jacquille Veii de-commits from Maryland, eyes Iowa.

Jacquille Veii de-committed from Maryland today, a mutual agreement, he said.

"This was a mutual decision on both parts, we both agreed," he said. "There's no bad blood."

Although it's mutual, it's still a bit of a shock value, like ending a relationship, he describes.

"It's like breaking up with someone. It hurts, but then you get over it and go on."

And he certainly is moving on, with his eyes on Iowa.

"Iowa is the number one on my list now. I like that they have tradition over there. Coach Ferentz has been there for 14 years, and they have great fans and solid academics."

Veii is also talking to Boston College and Pittsburgh.
