This offer comes not long after the 6-foot-5, 220 pound sophomore visited Tuscaloosa.
"I was there for the Mississippi State game and it was everything I expected it to be. The fan base was ridiculous, so many people were there way before the game, everything was perfect, and a lot of top recruits were there visiting them. It was just what I expected Alabama to be like."
More than the game-day atmosphere impressed Brown that day. The coaches stood out to him as well.
"I got to talk to Coach Smart and Coach [Nick] Saban while I was there and they are great guys. Everyone knows they are great coaches, but they are great guys too. It was easy to talk to them and it was nice to hear about the interest they have in me."
The star from Carver High School in Columbus, Ga. does not have a leader, but it was easy for him to say his interest in the Crimson Tide is high.
"Oh yeah, I like Alabama a lot," he said. "They have to be up there for me. I am completely open to everyone, but getting an offer from Alabama is an honor for me. I have eight or nine offers now and they are definitely one of the best."
