Deeb is "1000% Committed"

With a perhaps unexpected - and undefeated - start to the 2012 season, the Notre Dame Fighting Irish continue their return to national prominence. So, what does a stellar start mean for an incoming recruiting class?

"Can't complain when they're undefeated!" said 2013 MLB Michael Deeb.

Deeb, a three-star linebacker out of Florida, has been committed to Notre Dame since June. At the time, Deeb chose the Irish over schools closer to home, including Florida State and South Florida. "If I left the state, I wanted it to be for a top notch institution that also aimed at a high level on the football field," Deeb said of his decision.

If the 2012 campaign is any indication of future Irish success, Deeb's decision was the right one.

"They've been playing great football," Deeb explained. "Their defense has been dominating this season."

Notre Dame will visit Boston College this weekend, followed by match-ups at home against Wake Forest and at USC.

Regardless of the Irish outcome, how committed is its future linebacker?

"1000%!" Deeb said. "I wouldn't have committed if I wasn't."
