Offense or defense for Gentry

Evan Gentry from Tallahassee (Fla.) North Florida Christian can play on either side of the ball.

When it comes to big men at Tallahassee's North Florida Christian Evan Gentry is their guy. He made all-region last year on the defensive front.

"Evan can be a three or five technique on the defensive line," said Robert Craft, North Florida Christian's coach. "He has such a motor. I mean this guy never stops and he's old school nasty. He is just a player and a very underrated prospect."

Gentry, 6-foot-3 and 252-pounds, has a 6-foot-7 and 315-pound older brother that plays at East Carolina. Craft believes that maybe Evan has stopped growing.

"He might now be done yet," Craft said.

In the end, because of his size or lack of, Gentry could end up on the other side of the ball.

"There are some schools that do like him as an offensive lineman," Craft said. "I think he would be a terrific center. That's where Appalachian State likes him."
