Isaac Sets First Official

Brian Isaac has made the most of his time at Copiah-Lincoln Community College. After upsetting defending national champion East Mississippi in the playoffs, the Wolfpack knocked off Mississippi Gulfcoast Community College for the Region 23 championship on Saturday. With a championship title under his belt, Isaac is preparing to make his four year college decision.

"It's been great," said Isaac of the 2012 season. "We all worked hard and we won state.

"It's a great feeling."

The win over Gulf Coast gives Co-Lin their first MACJC title since 1985.

Isaac held offers from Alcorn and Jackson State prior to the weekend, but a pair of other options have rolled in.

"Delta State offered me and I am taking an official visit up there on December 7th," explained Isaac. "Southern Arkansas just offered me too.

"I don't have any other official visits set yet, but I am going to see Alcorn and Jackson State play each other."

Isaac reports that he is still open to all comers and that he is approaching the official visit phase of the recruiting process with an open mind.

"I just want to see everything and see how I like the schools before I make a decision," said Isaac.

Isaac will have one more game to play for Co-Lin before moving on to the next level.

The Wolfpack will play in the Mississippi Bowl on December 2nd.
