Godwin will have Options

Georgia offered Terry Godwin after seeing him at their camp this summer and plenty of others will in time. Find out who he is hearing from, what he thinks of Athens, and more here.

Georgia is the only offer for Terry Godwin right now and it happened back in the summer after a camp in Athens.

Godwin has taken in a few games at UGA this year and he has enjoyed his time there.

"I have been to Georgia for three games this year and I like it there. It is good there for me and it feels like home. The people there already treat me like I am a player there, so I like it a lot.

"It is live every Saturday at Georgia. The crowd is always roaring, it is very loud there, and I would love to play there one day. My dad and I have always been big Bulldog fans, so I love being there for games."

UGA may be the only offer this 6-foot, 175 pound sophomore athlete has at this time, but his offer sheet will grow a lot over the next 12 months.

One school had him on their campus over the summer and he is now on their radar.

"I went over to Alabama for a camp this summer and I liked it a lot. Nick Saban is a good coach and he teaches his guys how to be a man, not just a great player, and I have interest in them."

Other schools showing early interest are Auburn, Clemson, and Florida.

He grew up a Bulldog fan and has attended multiple games there this season, but he is not focused on them only right now.

"I am still open to whoever wants to offer me," the star out of Hoganville (Ga.) Callaway said. "I am in no hurry and I am just going to see who all offers before I do anything."

Godwin was offered as an athlete by Georgia. He could play cornerback or wide receiver on the next level. He'd like the opportunity to play both sides of the ball.
