"Those are my top three schools, I am really focused on them, so I could see myself committing to one of them after the visit to Georgia.
"I will have seen all that I need to see, so I think I will be committing soon."
Johnson saw some things he liked in Oxford and Tampa when he spent time on the Ole Miss and USF campuses.
"I really liked the atmosphere at Ole Miss. I would say it was pretty live there and I really like their coaches. I talk to Coach [Peter] Wommack a lot and Coach [Hugh] Freeze is recruiting me there too.
"At USF, the first thing I like is the location. It is an in-state school and I like that and I also like how they play in the Big East. They have some cool coaches too and I think I could play there right away."
The Rebels and Bulls will be challenged by the Bulldogs.
UGA will likely be the last school he visits and the 6-foot-2, 190 pound safety out of Gulf Coast Community College is looking forward to seeing Athens.
"Georgia has been recruiting me hard for a while and I have been in contact with Coach [Scott] Lakatos, Coach [Rodney] Garner, and Coach [Mark] Richt from Georgia a lot.
"I visited them unofficially back in the summer and I really liked it, so I want to get back up there. I like their campus, I like the location, I like that they are in the SEC, and I like how they are a winning program."
A decision from Johnson will likely happen within the next two weeks and he knows what he is looking for in a school.
"Location is important, but it is not the most important thing to me. I am not afraid to go far from home, but I would like to be close if I can.
"Getting on the field early is very important because I am coming out of Junior College with only two years to play, so that is very important. I am also planning to major in Sports Medicine, so I am looking at that too."
Johnson will have three years to play two and he is a December graduate.
