2013 Four Star LB Has Change of Heart
Nick Ramirez, one of the top linebackers in the class of 2013 and a Missouri commit will visit Kansas State on December 1, 2012. "I haven't visited anywhere but Mizzou," Ramirez said late this evening. "Maybe I was caught up in the moment and made a decision too quickly. I love Missouri, but I have to make sure it's the right place for me." At 6-foot-2, 230-pounds, Ramirez is a four-star middle linebacker, ranked #10 in the nation. A four-year starter at Missouri power Lee's Summit West High School, he had nine scholarship offers before pledging to Missouri in April. Ramirez will make the trip to Manhattan with teammate Jamone Boyd. At 6-foot-4, 245 pounds, Boyd is a four-star defensive end, #29 at the position for 2013. He holds offers from eight Division I programs, Kansas State, Missouri, and Purdue among them. "We're both going to K-State on December 1st to check everything out and see what it's like," Ramirez said, smiling. "Then I'm setting up a visit to Purdue." "We're keeping our minds totally open to any college," he said. "Jamone and I are best friends, and we're going to the same college to play together."
