"I haven't visited anywhere but Mizzou," Ramirez said late this evening. "Maybe I was caught up in the moment and made a decision too quickly. I love Missouri, but I have to make sure it's the right place for me."

At 6-foot-2, 230-pounds, Ramirez is a four-star middle linebacker, ranked #10 in the nation. A four-year starter at Missouri power Lee's Summit West High School, he had nine scholarship offers before pledging to Missouri in April.

"We're both going to K-State on December 1st to check everything out and see what it's like," Ramirez said, smiling. "Then I'm setting up a visit to Purdue."

"We're keeping our minds totally open to any college," he said. "Jamone and I are best friends, and we're going to the same college to play together."
