"I was offered by Air Force tonight, and I'm very excited," Overton stated. "I spoke to their coach tonight, and just learned about the offer. It's a great relief off my shoulders, and I couldn't wait to go tell my family. This means a lot to me, not only for what they do on the field, but how great the education is that they offer."
"I think very highly of Air Force, and their style of play," he added. "We haven't set up an official visit yet, but they told me they want me to get there in the near future. I will be taking an official there at some point."
The 5-foot-9, 160-pound, slot receiver is also receiving interest from several other programs.
"I'm also hearing from Georgia Tech, Utah, Colorado State, Hawaii and Middle Tennessee State," he explained. "I will be taking an official visit to Utah in December, and I'm very interested in their program. I did visit Georgia Tech earlier, and they are still in contact."
Overton starred at several positions this season for Glenville, including quarterback, wide receiver and as a kick return specialist.
