Jackson's Commitment is "Wobbly"

A.J. Jackson is an Auburn commitment and he visited FSU Saturday. He then learned on Sunday that Auburn has fired Gene Chizik. Get the latest here.

"I went down to Florida State Saturday with FSU commitment Davin Bellamy I had a great visit," A.J. Jackson told Scout.

"I really liked the environment down there and I loved the way the tight ends were involved in the offense. I am looking at FSU."

He has had FSU on his radar for a while now, but Jackson may have a little more interest in the Seminoles now.

Gene Chizik has now been fired by Auburn.

"I kind of knew this [Chizik firing] was going to happen. I am going to have to sit down and talk to my parents about my commitment to Auburn now.

"I would describe my commitment to Auburn as wobbly right now."

Florida State and Ole Miss are two schools that have been in pursuit of this 6-foot-6, 240 pound tight end out of Lovejoy, Ga. for the past couple of months.

Jackson is the No. 18 tight end in the country on Scout.
