Moore Visits Ohio State

2014 linebacker prospect Airius Moore already holds two offers and was one of many prospects on hand for Ohio State's game against Michigan this past weekend. We check with Moore to get more about his visit with the Buckeyes.

Another of the many 2014 prospects on hand for Ohio State's victory over Michigan was Beavercreek (Ohio) linebacker Airius Moore.

Moore, who stands 6-0, 215-pounds was a return visitor to Columbus and saw a difference in his visit.

"The visit was pretty good I would say," said Moore. "I got to attend the Nebraska game and felt that game was louder. It might have been because of the cold but the players were more intense."

Buckeye coaches made it a point to acknowledge Moore following the game.

"I spoke with (assistant) coach (Tim) Hinton and (assistant) coach (Luke) Fickell," said Moore. "They said they were going to come watch me play basketball this season. Coach Hinton also asked if I enjoyed coming and I told him yes."

Friday Moore sees his basketball season get underway with the first game of the season against Middletown and Jalin Marshall. Could the two match-up in the game?

"The plan is we're going to guard each other if I play point guard," said Moore. "Basketball is going pretty good right now as we've had a couple of scrimmages."

As for his interest in Ohio State, Moore knows it would be an honor to earn an offer from the Buckeyes.

"Ohio State is a really good college," said Moore. "If I got an offer from them, I guess it shows I'm a pretty good player. I would like it if I got offered by them."
