It was a crazy junior season for Wheaton North (Ill.) quarterback Clayton Thorson.
He played quarterback and wide receiver, received his first offers and advanced to the state playoffs -- where he injured his collarbone.
With Thorson on the mend, and expected to be fully back in several months, he just picked up his seventh offer.
"I got offered by Toledo Monday," Thorson said.
With Thorson's season now complete, Toledo makes offer number seven for the talented junior.
"They were at school and I talked to them and they told me they are offering me," Thorson said.
There are several things that the signal caller likes about the Rockets.
"They like to throw the ball a lot and spread it out so I like that about Toledo," Thorson said.
In the meantime, there is another school that has entered the mix for Thorson.
"I've been talking to Vanderbilt quite a bit," Thorson said. "That's one new school I have heard from."
