"I am still committed to Purdue," said 2013 RB Keyante Green. "I talked to my recruiting coordinator recently. I told him that I was still committed, but I want to see the new staff to see if I fit in with them.

"That'll make my final decision."

Purdue recently fired Coach Danny Hope after four seasons. Patrick Higgins has been named Interim Head Coach.

"I took my official visit recently and as I was coming back, I heard [Hope] had gotten fired," Green explained. "So, I'm going to take four more official visits to see if I like others and see if those may be the right fit...although I really do like Purdue."

Although he plans to take outside visits, Green is not quite sure where those visits will take place.

"I haven't decided which schools to take official visits to yet, since I've been locked down to Purdue," Green said. "I haven't been talking to others; but I'd consider my commitment about 85% right now."

Green will gauge interest in schools formerly recruiting him, including West Virginia, Minnesota, Tennessee, and Virginia.

"I would like to consider WVU and Minnesota," Green said. "Both great schools. I'd also consider Tennessee. I grew up a Tennessee fan and would like to see how their new coaching staff comes together. I'll also consider the University of Virginia."

Green has not yet set a date for his remaining four visits.
