Okonkwo set for visit No. 1 this weekend

Fontana (Calif.) Summit defensive back Charles Okonkwo will take his first official visit this weekend is close to setting up a few others.

Charles Okonkwo is one of the top cover corners in the state. He's a long, lean athlete who can run and plays physical. He has a very nice upside to him and some program will get a steal with him.

"I have my first visit to Nevada this weekend," Okonkwo said. "I can't wait, I've never been there before and with this being my first visit, I don't know what to expect but I'm excited to check out and learn more about the program."

Okonkwo hasn't set up any other visits but has a good idea of where he wants to go.

"Fresno State has offered me and they could be my next visit," Okonkwo said. "They have been recruiting me really hard. I'm also talking with Stanford, Oregon State, Washington State, Boise State, San Diego State, Utah State and Duke.

"Boise State offered early and they want me to visit in either late December or early January. Stanford asked me recently about a visit, but none of the Pac 12 schools have offered me yet so I'm not sure if anything will happen there. I'm taking things pretty slow right now but after this trip, I'll start setting a few more and I do want to take all five before I make my decision."
