**QB Devante Kincade and Skyline (TX) defeated Plano Mesquite Horn 47-28 last Friday in the third round of the Texas state playoffs to run their record to 11-1. The 4-Star Ole Miss commit was 10-16 for 224 yards and 2 touchdowns. He also chipped in 81 rushing yards and anther touchdown.

Skyline faces Westfield in the state 5A quarterfinals Saturday at 3:00 p.m..

The Army All-American is 147-222 for 2,457 yards with 36 TDs/6 INTs.. Kincade has carried the ball 100 times for 693 yards and 11 touchdowns

The nation's #12 ranked quarterback was a terror on the field last season as he passed for 3,270 yards and 37 touchdowns while also chipping in another 857 rushing yards and 17 TDs on his way to All-State honors.

 

**Gadsden City (AL) and Finesse Middleton were defeated by Bob Jones the week before last in the second round of the playoffs to end his high school career. Middleton had 11 tackles, 5 for loss, and recorded a 49-yard interception return to cap off his career.

His season totals were 79 tackles, 35 for loss 12 sacks, and 2 interceptions.

Middleton was selected to the MS/AL All-Star game in December.


**RB Peyton Barber and Milton (GA) were defeated by Woodstock 28-21 in the second round of the playoffs the week before last. Peyton had 18 carries for 147 yards in the contest.

Scout.com's No. 60 rated tailback finished the season with 1,980 yards yards and 25 touchdowns for the season.




**Canton (MS) and Daronte Bouldin's season has come to a close. The 6' 5", 315-pound Dandy Dozen offensive tackle had 81 pancakes and 50 crackback blocks through 10 games.

** RB Mark Dodson and Whitehaven (Tenn) defeated Mount Juliet 54-35 in the 6A semifinals last Friday to run their record to 14-0. Dodson had 22 carries for 304 yards rushing and four touchdowns in the back-and-forth contest.

Scout.com's No. 43 rated tailback now has 3,079 rushing yards and 32 touchdowns on the season. Last season he rushed for over 2,100 yards and 28 TDs.

Whitehaven faces Maryville SAturday in a rematch of the 5A championship game last season.

Mark was named Tennessee's 2012 Gatorade Player of the Year yesterday.

 


 

**6' 2" 185 athlete Charles Williams and Champagnat Catholic lost to Glades Day last Friday in the opening round of the playoffs.

Scout.com's #52 rated safety finished the season with over 1,2000 total yds, 9 TDs and 4 INTs (defense) this year while playing QB, RB, WR, KR/PR, CB and FS. Williams has been slowed by a groin injury all year but will be 100% when he arrives in Oxford next year.

 

** TE Evan Engram and Hillgrove (GA) were defeated by Camden County in the second round of the playoffs. They finished the season at 7-4. The Ole Miss tight end commit had 5 catches for 101 yards and 1 TD against McEachern in the opening round of the playoffs and 4 catches for 185 yards and 2 TDs against Camden County in the second round.

Scout.com's #22 nationally ranked tight end finished the season with 40 catches for 975 yards and 10 TDs



**Grenada (MS) lost to Columbus 41-21 in the opening round of the playoffs to finish the season at 4-7. In seven games of action he had 35 catches for 477 yards and 5 touchdowns on the season. He also has 3 interceptions on defense and a defensive touchdown.

Last season the 6' 2", 190-pound receiver caught 27 passes for 440 yards and 7 TDs. While manning the safety position he posted 40 tackles and 5 interceptions.



Derrick Jones

**Derrick Jones and Eupora defeated Bruce 31-28 in the 2A semifinals last Friday to move their record to 13-1. The 6' 3", 185-pound receiver/defensive back had 5 catches for 143 yards and 2 TDs in the game. He also returned a kickoff 80-yards for another score and for good measure, got a pick on defense.

This season Jones has 47 catches for 972 yards and 15 touchdowns. He also chipped in a 95-yard kickoff, 80-yard kickoff return, 55-yard punt return, 70-yard punt return, and a 85-yard punt return for touchdowns. Jones on defense has 58 tackles and 6 interceptions

Jones was selected to the MS/AL All-Star game in December





**Ole Miss commits CB Zach Witchett and WR Quadarius Mireles finished their season with a victory over Pearl River CC. Mireles out of Boynton Beach, Fla., was the workhorse for the Eagles all night, carrying the rock 21 times for 111 yards. This brought his season total to 38 receptions for 385 yards and 4 touchdowns. He also had 47 rushes for 249 yards and 2 touchdowns

Georgia native Zach Witchett sat out the last five games of the season with injuries. He finished the season with 12 solo tackles and 4 pass breakups in four games of action this season.

Mireles is expected to enroll in January.

 

**Ole Miss commit DT Herbert Moore finished his high school career with a 23-0 loss to Memphis Whitehaven in the regular season. Moore had eight tackles with two of them coming for loss. The 6' 2", 320-pound defensive tackle finished the season with 54 tackles, 13 tackles for loss, four sacks, one pass breakup, four fumble recoveries, and one defensive touchdown.

Scout.com's No. 66 rated defensive tackle had 46 tackles and eight sacks as a junior.



**Carver (LA) and RB Eugene Brazley were defeated by Evangical Christian in the third round of the playoffs to run their record to 8-4. Brazley suffered a high-ankle sprain on Wednesday before the game and did not participate.

Scout.com's No. 72 rated tailback had 128 carries for 1,320 yards and 15 touchdowns. Brazley also has 25 receptions for 479 yards and three touchdowns.

Last season Brazley was one of the top play-makers in New Orleans as he had over 1,800 yards of offense and 24 TDs.

**Jackson Prep defeated Jackson Aca 34-10 to win the state championship. Four-star QB Ryan Buchanan had 120 passing yards and two touchdowns in the contest.

Buchanan finished the season 85-151 for 1,468 yards and 22 touchdowns. He has also rushed for over 200 yards.




 

 

 

 



**WR Dannon Cavil and Madison (TX) won their second round matchup against East Central 24-0 last Friday. Dannon had 2 receptions for 58 yards and a touchdown in the game.

The 6' 4", 210-pound receiver now has 30 catches for 666 yards and 8 TDs for the season.

Madison faces Sharyland Saturday in the third round of the Texas 6A playoffs.




**Byhalia (MS) and OT Davion Johnson lost to Cleveland Eastside 6-5 in the state semifinals. They finished their season at 9-4.

The Dandy Dozen offensive tackle totaled 108 pancake blocks this season.

Last season the 6' 5", 325-pound left tackle was named first team All-State.



**Colquitt County (GA) and WR/CB Bobby Hill beat Newnan 26-23 last Friday in the third round of the playoffs. The Ole Miss commit had three catches for 45 yards in the contest.

He now has 74 catches for 1,025 yards and seven touchdowns this season.

Colquitt County faces Parkview tonight in the Georgia semifinals.




**LB Rashawn Smith and Florence (AL) lost to Huntsville in the opening round of the playoffs. The Ole Miss commit had 11 tackles and a sack on that night.

Scout.com's #108 rated outside linebacker finished the season with 106 tackles and over 250 rushing yards.

Smith was selected to the MS/AL All-Star game in December.

**Four-star TE Christian Morgan and Prestonwood Christian were defeated by St. Michaels 30-22 in the Texas quarterfinal matchup. Morgan 4 receptions for 87 yards and a touchdown in the contest.

The country's No. 12 rated tight end ended the season with 31 catches for 497 yards and five touchdowns this season.


 

 

 

 

 

 

**Nickolas Brassell and East MS CC suffered a season-ending loss to Co Linn 47-46 in stunning form as they had a kickoff returned on them with 9 seconds left. Brassell had his biggest game of the year with 12 receptions for 185 yards. This brings his season total to 48 receptions for 663 yards and six TDs.

**OT Brandon Hill and Hargrave have completed their season. The 6' 7", 378-pound right tackle started all 10 games at right tackle this season and graded out at 88%.
