Adidas Showcase: MVPs

The Adidas Maximum Exposure Showcase had top performers from Michigan, Ohio and Illinois today. Here are the MVPs as chosen by the event.

MVPs (Chosen By the Camp)

Alex Malzone QB Soph. Brother Rice
Had a coming out party in the state title game and should now become a highly sought after recruit. Good size, rocket arm, still improving his technique, but has great natural tools. He's a big time prospect.

Justin Berry QB Frosh. St. Francis
Came from Illinois and did not waste the trip. Spins the ball well and was accurate during 1-1s.

Josh Flye WR Junior Brother Rice
Fast slot receiver. Not the biggest guy, but he's a tough cover because of his quickness and he catches the ball well.

Mike Weber RB Soph. Cass Tech
Weber is a very well built sophomore. He's compact, fast (4.45 today) and ended up having a great season for Cass and a good day today. There are some who feel he could be state's top sophomore.

Romello Ross RB Soph. Detroit Western
Running back, but went at receiver and had a great day. Defenders had trouble with his speed and quickness. Only guy to beat Webb today. Has good hands and will be getting a lot of attention from schools.

Martell Pettaway RB Frosh. South Lake
Young back with a chance to be a very good one. Decent size already, showed explosiveness today. Definitely a guy to keep an eye on.

Curtis Doyle OL Junior Alma
Had a really good day today. Showed good strength and punch in 1-1s and seemed to rarely lose a rep. Good size as well. D1 guy for sure, possible BCS.

Kyonta Stallworth OL Soph. South Lake
Kid plays tackle, but is built like a guard. He's powerful, has good technique for a young guy and was very good in 1-1s. Could be a BCS level guy. Really thought he had a good day.

Logan Dziak DT Junior Buckeye Valley
Ohio product is a wide bodied, powerful interior guy who was a handful in 1-1s today.

Jalen Dingle LB Junior South Lake
He's an edge guy, but he was playing linebacker mostly today. I think he'll be a combo guy as a pass rusher who could drop into coverage.

Jordan Cry LB Junior Southfield
Physical linebacker who showed today he could run and cover as well.

John Kelley CB Soph. Oak Park
Kelley has speed, athleticism and isn't necessarily tall, but has some length to him. He's explosive and confident as well.

Damon Webb CB Junior Cass Tech
Has all the hype and offers, but still came out and competed. Broke up a couple passes and continued to show he's not afraid to come up and play press man. Has good length and overall athleticism.

Tymion Ollison CB Soph. Akron Buchtel
Speedy corner ran a 4.35, had one of the top shuttle times, and then covered very well in 1-1s.

Sean Scullen S Junior Stoney Creek
Versatile athlete played DB today and played it well. Has a great frame at 6'3 and good athleticism. Has several programs looking his way.
