WR staying put

Zach Benjamin says he's sticking with the Bulls despite the dismissal of coach Skip Holtz.

Like many Zach Benjamin (Tampa, Fla./Catholic) was a little surprised at the University of South Florida's decision to fire Skip Holtz as their head coach.

"I was surprised and shocked," Benjamin said. "I really liked Holtz. I know they had a bad season but I did not that [firing] was going to happen."

Benjamin, like Mitchell Wright, will stick with his Bulls pledge no matter what.

"The coaches called earlier and they will honor my scholarship offer no matter what," Benjamin said. "So I will stay there. I am still going to be a Bull."

Benjamin, 6-foot-5 and 192-pounds, is nicknamed "Big Bird." He finished the season with 25 receptions for 320 yards and five touchdowns.
