"I guess Eliot lied to me," Davin Bellamy tweeted on Monday night.

Bellamy's tweet follows the University of Kentucky's announcement to hire D.J. Eliot as its Defensive Coordinator. Eliot is currently the Defensive Ends Coach at Florida State University, now following former FSU Defensive Coordinator Mark Stoops to UK.

Bellamy, a four-star defensive end, committed to FSU in August.

Does Eliot's move to Lexington affect Bellamy's decision?

"No, it doesn't," Bellamy answered. "I'm still 100%."

What could affect his decision?

"As long as Coach [Dameyune] Craig and Coach [Jimbo] Fisher are there, I'm cool," Bellamy explained.

Bellamy explains his tweet saying, "I asked him a couple of days ago about it and he said he was still with us."

Although emotions run high in the wake of any coaching transition, Bellamy still plans to suit up in the Garnet and Gold.
