Goodman locks in LSU visit date

Rancho Cucamonga (Calif.) defensive back Tahaan Goodman has set up his second official visit and is hopeful of locking in his third and possibly final one as well.

Tahaan Goodman is one of the elite safety prospects in the nation. He's a big kid who can run, hit and cover and has a very nice upside to him.

Goodman took his first official visit to UCLA lats month and will head to LSU for visit No. 2.

"I'm going to visit LSU in two weeks (Dec. 14)," Goodman said. "I'm excited and looking forward to it. LSU is a school I've heard great things about and they have a great program. I hear it's a real fun place to be so I'm excited to see everything first hand for myself.

"I still want to visit USC but I don't have anything set up yet. I might go in January after the Army All-American game and if I do, I won't be making my decision there. I heard they have a big weekend of visits coming this week so I might look in to taking my visit this weekend if I can but if not, I'll do it in January."

Goodman has had a steady stream of home visits in the last week as well and more will be coming next week.

"So far, Arizona State, Oklahoma and Tennessee have all come in," Goodman. "They were all good visits, I liked them a lot. I took an unofficial visit to Tennessee a while back and it was cool there. ASU and Oklahoma want me to take a visit but I'm not sure about my schedule right now or when I'll have time.

"UCLA will be coming in next week and I assume USC and LSU will come to but I haven't talked to either of them about it yet. Right now, I like UCLA a lot but I'm not sure when I'll make my decision. I have some people telling me I should just go ahead and commit now but I want to play out the process a little more and make sure I'm doing the right thing."
