6-foot-1, 190 pound wide receiver Zach Yousey collected offers from Ball State, BowlingGreen, Eastern Illinois, Eastern Michigan, Miami (OH), Ohio and Toledo throughout his senior season. This week, he made his final decision.
"I committed to Toledo," said Yousey. "It has great unity, from the coaches to the players. I'm excited about getting a great education and coming out of there hopefully making it to the league."
The wide receiver says that hearing the Rockets' plan for him was the tipping point.
"After I found out what Toledo wanted to do with me, I knew it was where I wanted to go. I also like that the campus is nice and close to home."
When the senior committed to the staff, he says he couldn't have asked for a better reaction.
"They were beyond excited. They said they can now rest on the wide receivers position."
As for his future, Yousey says Toledo fans can look forward to him giving it his all.
"They can expect me to make a difference any way shape or form on and off the field."
