Three For Dunlap

The last twenty four hours have been pretty exciting for Crete-Monee senior defensive back Jaylen Dunlap earning his first three offers. He talks about it inside.

It's been a big few weeks for Crete-Monee senior defensive back Jaylen Dunlap.

Just two weeks after leading the Warriors to the 6A IHSA State title -- he landed his first three offers.

"UAB, Eastern Michigan and Grand Valley State offered me Tuesday," Dunlap said.

His reaction?

"I am just so happy about it," Dunlap said. "It's a wonderful feeling, a true blessing." And although Dunlap was pretty excited -- he wasn't really expecting the new offers.

"I have been talking to all the schools a little bit," Dunlap said. "I wasn't really expecting the offers so soon though, although my coach has been mentioning them."

He added, "Plus I knew they saw my transcripts and hey had seen my film and liked it." Although Dunlap plans to decide by February where he will attend school, he doesn't consider himself rushing the process.

"I am going to make decision after my five officials," Dunlap said. "And I am picking those teams by who offers me by the end of the month."
