Announcement Day for Manning

Today's the day; the day when yet another of the Lone Star State's top prospects drops off the market. Once with every major college football program chasing, four-star defensive tackle Justin Manning of Dallas Kimball will declare to continue his football career among a final three of Oklahoma, TCU and Texas A&M. FOXSportsNEXT will be live from the ceremony.

"It'll be between TCU, Oklahoma, and Texas A&M," Justin Manning reported Nov. 16.

"Oklahoma, I've been in love with Oklahoma since the fifth grade. My brother (DeMarcus Granger) went there, so I'm familiar with it, and comfortable with it. Mom is, too. Plus, there's just certain things about Coach (Jackie) Shipp that I really like."

"TCU… Coach (Clay) Jennings, he's like a another 'homeboy'; just like (former Kimball coach and father-like figure) Coach Owens. The first time I met all the other schools' coaches, I felt uncomfortable. But when I first met the TCU coaches, I felt like I already knew them; like I was walking into the house with my mom. I can't stop visiting, I love it there."

"A&M, what stood out to me was how good they were at recruiting. They had some of the other top defensive tackles already committed, so I know they're going to have a good defense."

Overall, "Trust is a big thing for me, and I feel like I can trust the coaches. I feel like they're all a good place for me, and that I can make it to the next level from all three of those schools."

The 6-foot-2, 275-pounder has made official visits to all three: OU Sept. 21, A&M Sept. 28, TCU Oct. 5. He then returned to each for a handful of unofficial visits.

Manning will announce his commitment decision today at 4:00 p.m. CT in a ceremony held at Dallas Kimball High.
