Jones Attends Wildcat Practice

Four-star junior offensive tackle Jamarco Jones visited Northwestern recently, and has had several schools drop in.

Jamarco Jones says right now is a busy time for him, as he is in the midst of basketball season. However, the 6'5, 290-lb offensive tackle still found the time to get out for a football visit recently.

"I visited Northwestern [on Sunday]," he said. "They looked pretty good. I'm looking forward to watching the bowl game (against Mississippi State in the Gator Bowl)."

Jones has offers from around the country, including one from the Wildcats. He says many schools have been up to De La Salle the last few weeks.

"Florida came by to see me [on Monday], Coach Butkus from Illinois and Coach Martin from Notre Dame came, Indiana, Michigan and Northwestern stopped came to the school, and Maryland and Ohio State stopped by," he reported.

Because of basketball season, Jones says he does not have any other bowl practices or visits planned for the moment.

He is currently ranked as the nation's number five offensive tackle, and a four-star prospect.
