New Offer, New Visit for 3-Star CB

Tucson (Ariz.) Ironwood Ridge ATH Tyler Williams heating back up

Prior to the 2012 season Tucson (Ariz.) Ironwood Ridge's Tyler Williams was getting a lot of attention. He had offers from San Diego State, Colorado and Army. Despite a strong senior season, the attention slowed down...until today when FoxSportsNext confirmed he received a new offer and has aset up a visit.

Williams, a three-star CB despite not play DB this year, had a great senior year. He helped the Nighthawks win the division-two state title playing quarterback. He threw for 1,345 yards and 17 TDs versus 6 INTs and chipped in 1,143 yards and 15 TDs on the ground.

Interest is starting to heat back up for Williams. He was offered by South Dakota State last night and has a visit set up with Yale on January 4th.
