Calvin Schedules Third Visit

Frisco (Texas) Centennial cornerback Cydney Calvin has already secured his first offer and scheduled his first two official visits in the month of December, but more schools are continuing to show interest in the talented 6'0 defensive back.

Cydney Calvin has now scheduled his third official visit to Colorado State.

"Colorado State spoke with me [Tuesday] during study hall for a good 45 minutes," Calvin said. "They saw my film and were very impressed with the film. The coach said I want to offer you right now, but let me go back and see what the corners coach say. He said ‘we need you.'"

"I'm 99.9 percent sure we're going to offer you is what they said today."

Calvin was offered by Wake Forest earlier in December. He will take an official visit Wake Forest and New Mexico in January.

Calvin said, "Im going to make an official visit to Colorado State on January 28 and also take one to Wake Forest and New Mexico."

Also showing heavy interest in Calvin is Tulsa.

"Today I talked to Tulsa. He had hit me up on Facebook to say he had seen my updated film, and he really loved it," said Calvin who also is a dynamic punt returner for Centennial.

"He said he wanted to come down on Monday. Today I saw him and he said ‘we loved your film.' He was talking about coming up to Tulsa for a visit and he's going to let me decide when to take that visit."

Calvin continued, "We talked about their coaching staff. I think they're very close to offering me. He said ‘I'll let you know where you are. You're very high on our charts.'"

"I had talked to Colorado State and Tulsa before in the Spring, but it wasn't much at first. Now I have good film and it's going good."

Calvin said he continues to feel blessed by all the interest he is receiving from so many division one programs.

"My family and I are very thankful that these offers may be coming in and that I'm getting more college looks," Calvin finished.
